Undergraduate Program of Business Administration

Program Overview

The bachelor’s degree in Business Administration is the eight-semester program, and students must accumulate 149-credit. The program is designed to meet market needs and allows students to find better opportunities and analyse management-related problems. The program helps students towards innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship, focusing on enhanced analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Students will be equipped with the latest knowledge and practice in human resource management, marketing management, strategic planning, strategic implication, logistic management, entrepreneurship, risk, and insurance management.

 

 

Learning Goals

This program aims to:

  1. Attain knowledge of business and management fundamentals.
  2. Enhance students’ problem-solving, decision-making, and reasoning skills.
  3. Encourage students towards innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship.
  4. Support students to develop their communication skills and technology agility.
  5. Develop students’ intercultural communication and teamwork in the organizational context.
  6. Assess and recommend relevant courses of action related to applying ethical business principles.
  7. Develop practical solutions to business problems in both local and global environments

 

 

Program Learning Outcome

On successful completion of bachelor program of business administration at Lebanese French University, you graduate with a recognized undergraduate degree that validates the following learning outcomes:

 

  1. Demonstrate foundational knowledge in management, marketing, finance, economy, and accounting basics in applying concepts and theories. 
  2. Attain critical strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to provide viable business problems and produce sound managerial decisions.
  3. Initiate innovation and creativity in business and administrative processes and convert insights into opportunities and action.
  4. Demonstrate an ability to apply general Management know-how in practical business situations.
  5. Practice interpersonal communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders in a team setting to solve organizational problems.
  6. Take the initiative, communicate objectives, build agreement, and demonstrate the ability to change and motivate team members to perform and contribute within a cross-functional team.
  7. Conduct research on business issues to understand the challenges and opportunities of operating a business and non-business organizations.

Program Delivery

As Lebanese French University is the only university that provides modern pedagogy training to the new teachers in the capital of the Kurdistan Region, we are applying the principles of modern pedagogy to facilitate the learning process in business administration. Facilitators urged to apply a student-centered learning approach, innovative pedagogy, competency-based education, and entrepreneurship education to connect students to the business environment as a pathway towards students’ placement.

Different methods will be used, including theoretical lectures, seminar, case study, on-job-training, role play, project-based learning, problem-based learning, and entrepreneurial education. Students will be supported throughout their studies to ensure the development of their creativity and key administration competencies. To meet students’ expectations, the program is delivered in the way students enjoy their learning process.

The bachelor program of business administration enriches students with up-to-date skills to run business and non-business organizations.
